Since 1923, Dundee Uni Rucksack Club has been providing access to the outdoors for its members - both hiker and climber alike. As one of the biggest sports clubs in the Uni (with upwards of 150 members), we cater to all sorts of outdoors activities. From Munro to crag - we probably do it. If hillwalking, scrambling, fell running, sport/trad climbing, bouldering or anything else mountaineering are of interest to you, then you're in the right place!
We are a begginer friendly club, so whether you're Adam Ondra or are wanting to try something new, you'll fit in great.
Alongside our weekly outdoors trips, we have weekly socials where you can find like-minded people, or maybe your future climbing partner. We also have extra social events throughout the semester, such as ceilidhs, pub crawls, wild swims, joint socials with other clubs, and much more! We also have regular sober socials, so don't worry if big drinking nights aren't your scene.
